vClicker® MOBILE EDITION

vClicker MOBILE EDITION (ME) is a web-based version of eInstruction's industry-leading CPS™ student response system.

 vClicker ME  turns any computer, smartphone, or web-enabled mobile device into a "virtual" response device, giving vClicker ME users the same ability to answer questions and participate in assessments and other interactive class activities as students using hand-held CPS clickers.

Assessment for 1-to-1 classrooms and across multiple locations

vClicker ME is ideal for either 1-to-1 classrooms where everyone has a desktop and laptop computer, or for online courses or blended environments where some students have CPS clickers and others have laptops or other mobile Internet devices. (The vClicker software is now a downloadable app for the Apple iPhone® and iPod Touch®.)

Because vClicker ME  supports the same question types as CPS clickers, the responses from both are easily combined and reported together to give teachers real-time feedback and assessment results for all their students, whether they're using CPS clickers or vClicker ME.

vClicker me users are also able to take self-paced tests and complete off-site homework assignments, just as if they were using a hand-held clicker.

    • eI Cornerstone™ Core Module (in a local or hosted installation)

  • There are three components to vClicker™ ME Implementation:
    • Student (browser) requirements
    • Teacher requirements (for the Student Response System application)
    • Network requirements (for the connection between student, teacher, and eI Cornerstone™)

Student Requirements

  • vClicker® ME works on any computing device running any of the following browsers:
    • Firefox 3.x and higher>
    • Internet Explorer 7.x and higher
    • Safari 3.x and higher

  • vClicker™ iPhone and iPod Touch App
    • iPhone OS v2.x, v3.x supported
    • Wi-Fi connection is required for vClicker™ ME access via the iPod Touch

Teacher Requirements
